But what exactly is Q-Cycle polyamide?
It's the result of a powerful collaboration between BASF's ChemCycling® project and Fulgar's textile expertise. Through a process called pyrolysis, fossil raw materials are replaced by components from recycled used tires.
The result? An innovative polyamide that retains exactly the same strength, lightness, and durability as virgin nylon, but without any use of virgin petroleum.
