PROTECT OUR PLAYGROUND

An alarming observation. The era of sustainability as we know it is over. Despite the progress made, the fashion industry continues to generate an astronomical amount of waste, greenhouse gas emissions and exploitation of natural resources, remaining the second most polluting industry in the world.

In the current landscape, one observation stands out: almost 80% of the clothes we own are not worn, while their cumulative value reaches 414 million. This waste is amplified by the fact that less than 1% of discarded clothing manages to be recycled, thus contributing to the continued growth of clothing waste. Take, for example, the case of a sports t-shirt, which travels no less than 60,000 kilometers from its creation until its arrival in the consumer's wardrobe, leaving behind a significant environmental footprint. To top it all off, alarming predictions suggest that by 2050 our oceans could well be home to more plastic than fish, highlighting the urgent need to fundamentally rethink our approach to the production, consumption and recycling of our clothing.

It’s time to recognize that small steps toward sustainability are no longer enough. We need to aim higher and adopt a systemic approach, where circularity plays a key role. Let's consume less, let's consume better.

WE DON'T JUST TALK ABOUT CIRCULARITY, WE LEAD THE WAY WITH DETERMINATION.
